The Art and Science of Science Fiction is a combined Humanities and Science course designed to familiarize students, through watching films and through discussion, with popular science fiction media and their contributions to cinema and to pop culture as a whole. We will explore their importance in terms of the art of storytelling as well as the science of film making.

For this course, we will explore, via games and pop culture films and TV shows (such and Doctor Who and Back to the Future), the ethical concerns and scientific plausibility of time travel,

Please note: Some of these programs carry an MPAA rating of PG due to either mild language, suggestive content, or some violence.
