For decades, the Christmas Tree Lot at the United Methodist Temple has been a seasonal fixture of Lakeland. The members of the United Methodist Temple donate proceeds from the lot to local organizations. This year, we are humbled to be one of those recipients and will be using funds received for our renovation of the Palmore building to include a gym and commercial kitchen. The United Methodist Temple has asked for volunteers to assist in setting up and working the tree lot. Children ages 10+ are able to volunteer (as long as they can help carry trees and follow directions). There are multiple dates and times available
