Academic Support & Community

High school students may register for our 3-day Academic Support and Community program, which offers academic support for home school students on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Students may work with tutors, work individually on Florida Virtual School or other home school curriculum with academic support, and collaborate with other students in group projects and other academic opportunities.

Grammar Bootcamp introduces students to the basics of American English Grammar. Improving your understanding of grammar will improve your critical reading, writing, and analysis skills and prepare you for more advanced courses.

Dystopian Literature

During this class, students will explore, discover, analyze, and interpret the world through reading, writing, speaking, reflecting, and experiencing novels and short stories from the dystopian genre. Students will explore the connections of literature to society, culture, and personal experiences.
